Born in beautiful County Antrim, Northern Ireland, I grew up in the small farming town of Ballymoney; we moved to England when I was five years old and settled in Yorkshire on the outskirts of Ilkley moor. Hence my love of the great outdoors, Guinness, Tetley bitter and rugby!
Started my first business ‘Tosh Wash’ age 12, providing car washing services to people on our street – I was the richest kid in school!
Graduated from De Montfort University in '94, then went on to work for Johnson & Johnson, Nestle and Campbell Soup in various marketing roles before finally co-founding Sponge.
