After Winning a competition for best lego spaceship when I was 8, I knew the sort of job I wanted. Unfortunately I never mastered the Danish language, so in 1991 I started an apprenticeship with Emaps finest local newspapers as a graphic artist in the UK’s first fully DTP studio (The Diss Express). 5 years later I was working for various design agencies in Sydney, Australia, then London, then back to Norwich to settle with the 4 women in my life.
That’s my kids by the way - Freya, Molly and Catherine and my lovely wife to be Mandy. When not at Sponge, I can generally be found painting (that’s my weekend job - £12 per hour, cooking and generally hanging around. I work with some great people who keep me (nearly) sane. I am a legendary slapper (of the bass) so if anyone needs a bass player, drop me a line.
