It's our first week back and we've hit the ground running!

Since our rebrand last year we have been exceptionally busy and our own website has taken a back seat in favour of our client work - as the old saying goes 'a builders house is never finished'!

We're looking for a highly creative and talented senior graphic designer to join our busy, friendly full-service agency. You'll be able to lead, manage and inspire a small team; be fantastic at communicating, presenting and conceptualising ideas. You should be comfortable working across a range of formats including print, advertising and digital; in essence we're after a creative superstar!

After a very hectic summer Alex wanted to reward the team with a trip to London. He led the day with a stirring speech, in our very own pod on the London eye, about his plans for 2012 and visions for the future of Creative Sponge. After seeing the sites of London we had a beautiful lunch looking out onto the River Thames, a cultural visit to the Tate modern and enjoyed the Abba inspired musical, Mamma Mia.
A grateful team are now back in the office raring to go. Many thanks again to the boss, Alex.
We have another busy summer of local high school, college and university students visiting our studio for work experience placements.
We try to regularly help out future designers by taking them under our wing and teach them the ways of the design and marketing industry.
As a result of our regular commitment to students we have been awarded the NWES's Consistent Support in Working With Students in Norfolk Award.
The Creative Sponge team took part in Active Norfolk Fit4Work Corporate Games last week. The games are held annually at the UEA Sports Park to help promote health and fitness amongst the teams of Norfolk’s top businesses.
Dressed to impress in our Sponge Team uniform, we took on the likes of Blue Sky Leisure, one of the many Swiss Re teams and Norfolk Police. We managed to win half of our events and ranked 22nd out of 40, but truly excelled at the indoor cycling event with the boys completing 1km in just over 1 minute; some of the best times of the day.
We are pleased to announce that we have been nominated for the Recommended Agency Register awards 2011.
The RAR award nominees are selected based on feedback from their own clients and ours have kindly rated us so highly that we are now up for the Best in Direct Marketing award (for up to 30 staff).
With over 3,000 agencies on the register, it is very rare to have such a nomination in the first year of membership, so we are very proud to have achieved this.
