We’re really excited about our work for the ‘Last Pub Standing’, a new gastro pub on Norwich’s King Street.
Launching to the public on Monday 20th November, the historic pub is the last of 58 pubs that once graced King Street. With a long and fascinating history, owner and general manager Darren Fennah immediately identified Creative Sponge as the right partner to help him tell the pub’s story.
Creative Sponge is the agency to work with in the region; their collaborative, can-do attitude fits perfectly with our business ethos and their infectious creativity shines through in everything they do. Darren Fennah
Last Pub Standing
The exciting brand concept model that the agency developed for the Last Pub Standing led to Creative Sponge securing a 25% stake in the business, as Scott explains: “We are really proud of the work that has gone into this project. Emotionally we invested a huge amount into the pub from the start. It made complete sense to formalise our passion for Darren’s business and we are really excited to see where we can take this unique pub concept.”
The pub will open its doors to the public from 11am on Monday 20th November. Whether the person who occupies Mr Harris’ corner seat detects the faint smell from this 19th century pipe however, is another story…
