Norwich based marketing agency Creative Sponge is spearheading a team of cyclists aiming to ride 212 miles to celebrate the 212th anniversary of the Norfolk & Norwich Association for the Blind (NNAB).

The challenge starts with a 50-mile ride as part of the Tour de Broads (South) on Sunday (30th April), when partially sighted riders will participate on tandem bikes – and ends with a 100-mile ride as part of the Tour de Broads (North) on 20th August. The 25- strong team aims to ride 62 miles between the two main events, clocking up a total of 212 miles.

Alex Tosh and Scott McKay (Managing Director and Director, respectively, of Creative Sponge), both keen cyclists, have helped to secure £4,000 worth of jersey sponsorship for the challenge. These funds will go towards the NNAB’s Young Eyes initiative which offers services to over 150 visually impaired children, their families and carers; these services consist of fun activities, confidence building development programmes and the teaching of new skills in a supportive and safe environment.
