Jarrold Training is a major provider of commercial training in Norfolk. With the client’s aim to double business over the next five years, we were asked to help create a brand which would propel Jarrold Training into the national marketplace, one that would communicate the breadth of services on offer and the experience and expertise that Jarrold Training can provide across a growing sector.
A personality of their own.
As a brand, Jarrold Training never had a clear identity. Sitting under an umbrella brand that also included a large local retail store and a printer, it would be fair to say that Jarrold Training lacked a personality of its own. It was also viewed primarily as a supplier of IT training. Which isn’t the whole story as Jarrold Training has so much more to offer than simply IT expertise. With competition in the training sector growing, the client was keen to address this misconception as soon as possible.
The starting point was to begin at Year Zero, taking them right back to their origins and developing a core purpose for the business including a set of key values and a clear sense of who they are, where they are positioned within the sector, and how they can go further.
This led to a new brand mark, giving them a unique, impactful, and flexible identity. We also worked with them to create marketing collateral, a bank of corporate imagery and a dynamic and engaging website to communicate their extensive range of services. Throughout the project, we really felt an essential part of their team, and we’re looking forward to watching them achieve their full potential.
