Nationwide campaign for Air Ambulance Week

Connecting supporters to every lifesaving mission

Challenge: Air Ambulances UK wanted to make its 2025 Air Ambulance Week campaign more engaging, unifying and impactful across 21 regional charities.

The goal was to highlight the critical role the public plays in every lifesaving mission – driving awareness, donations and national participation – while keeping the creative grounded in the charity’s established brand framework.

Solution: We developed a campaign built around the powerful message “Every mission starts with you.” This idea placed supporters at the heart of every flight, showing how their donations and actions make each response possible.

Evolving the charity’s distinctive heartbeat graphic, we created a visual link between supporters and air ambulance crews – a symbolic thread connecting generosity with lifesaving impact.

To bring the message to life, we produced a week-long content series of short videos – each exploring a different theme, from collaboration with emergency services to post-incident patient support. This provided a structured narrative throughout the week, reinforcing the campaign’s emotional and educational impact.

Alongside the video content, we designed a comprehensive campaign toolkit – including adaptable templates and social assets for all 21 local air ambulance charities. This ensured brand consistency across the UK while allowing each charity to tailor the message for its own community.

Outcome: The campaign successfully united air ambulance charities under a single, resonant message. It deepened public understanding of their vital work, increased engagement throughout the week, and strengthened supporter connection to the cause.

By putting the public at the centre of every mission, Air Ambulances UK continued to grow awareness, raise essential funds, and celebrate the lifesaving link between communities and crews.
