Showcasing Sika’s role in one of Britain’s most iconic regeneration projects

When Battersea Power Station underwent its £1.87 billion transformation, Sika played a key role in helping deliver the extensive basement waterproofing and concrete solutions required to support the development. Our task was to help tell that story through a high-quality video case study that would engage audiences, demonstrate Sika’s expertise and celebrate their contribution to this landmark project.

Challenge: Battersea Power Station is one of the most recognisable buildings in the UK, but explaining the technical contribution made by Sika presented a unique challenge. The project involved complex waterproofing and concrete systems, extensive engineering expertise and millions of pounds of specialist materials, all of which needed to be communicated in a way that felt engaging, accessible and relevant to a wider audience.

Sika needed a video that would showcase their involvement in the project, reinforce their expertise and support wider marketing activity across digital and social channels.

Solution: Working closely with the Sika team, we managed the project from initial planning through to final delivery. Following a detailed briefing and production schedule, we developed the storyboard, sourced and cast a presenter and coordinated all filming activity on site.

To help communicate the scale of the project, we combined cinematic footage with bespoke motion graphics and animated illustrations, highlighting key statistics and demonstrating how Sika’s waterproofing and concrete systems contributed to the development. The final edit blended technical information, visual storytelling and documentary-style presentation to create an engaging and informative case study. 

Outcome: The finished video provided Sika with a polished marketing asset that showcased their role in one of the UK’s most significant regeneration projects. Used across their website, social media channels and wider marketing activity, the film helped communicate a complex technical story in a clear and engaging way, reinforcing Sika’s reputation as a trusted partner on major construction projects.
